MISSION & VISION

As a not-for-profit social upliftment project which is based on the principle of supporting the growth of self-organized learning environment model of decentralized education, Learning Grounds exist to build a foundation for the wholesome development of school children specifically belonging to socio-economically underprivileged communities in Kerala. We wish to do this by exposing them to high-quality online content for self-directed and mutually-networked learning.

This project seeks to take these children beyond the restrictions currently being conditioned onto them by extant institutional methods of school education and a social environment that further enforces these conditioning mechanisms. It wishes to inspire them to deeper thought, self-exploration and awareness of the real issues facing humanity and the ecosystem. Towards this end of liberating true human potential they would be given opportunity to explore and be empowered by multifaceted thinking, in addition to subject-specific knowledge.
